What an exciting morning it’s been for us in the tasting room! Thumbing through the pages of issue 21 of “Edible Buffalo” magazine, we were surprised to find a full page story on our very own Blauer Himmel! If you know our wines at all, you know how near and dear this one is to us- and Michelle Blackley did a great job of capturing that passion in her story behind the bottle! A very special thanks to her for finding it as significant to write about as we feel it is!! We are grateful for the opportunity to be featured in their pages; We may be small and we may still be new, but the combination of word of mouth & good press like this are definitely helping us grow by getting our name out there! “Behind the Bottle: The Blauer Himmel Story,” now hangs framed on our wall, and if you’d like to pick up your own copy of Edible Buffalo, it is available in our tasting room!
Not even ten minutes after Danielle had discovered the article, cut it out and got it in a frame, a second great opportunity came knocking… Following a tasting Don did with Delaware North before the winter holidays, we received a call *today* that they are proudly adding Long Cliff Vineyard & Winery’s 2011 Semi Sweet Riesling to their menu at the TOP OF THE FALLS RESTAURANT this coming season!! We are so very excited to share our wine with tourists from all over the world, and can’t wait to stop in ourselves to enjoy a bottle during their opening weekend this May! Hope to see you there?! This is only the beginning of very good things for us!
