Did Somebody say Chocolate?!

Facebook, E-mails for work, Hulu, Candy Crush… We’re all so glued to our electronic devices!  (I’ll admit it!  I’m guilty too!) Did you make a resolution to actually sit down and READ something in the new year?  Maybe it’s time you check out our Wino’s Book Club!!

This awesome group meets in Long Cliff’s tasting room at 6pm on the FIRST of each month.  The books are selected from a wide variety of different genres on a rotating basis.  Share some wine, eat some food, and talk about a great book with friends?!  Count me in!

In FEBRUARY, we’re indulging our sweet tooth with “Chocolate: A Bittersweet Sage of Dark & Light” by Mort Rosenblum!  (Just in time for our February CHOCOLATE Event on the Niagara Wine Trail, February 14-16!  Spend the weekend with your sweetheart sampling wine paired with chocolates from a local chocolatier.  Get your tickets at www.niagarawinetrail.org

In this scintillating narrative, acclaimed foodie Mort Rosenblum delves into the complex world of chocolate… He visits cacao plantations; meets with growers, buyers, makers, and tasters; and investigates the dark side of the chocolate trade as well as the enduring appeal of its product. Engaging, entertaining, and revealing, Chocolate: A Bittersweet Saga of Dark and Light is an intriguing foray into this “food of the gods.”

All are welcome- we’d love to see you at our next meeting, so come out and join the fun!  Long Cliff supplies the wine, you supply the laughter!
