Across the country, the number of households with limited or uncertain access to adequate food has more than doubled during the 2020 global pandemic. As the risk of another COVID-19 surge looms, the demand for food assistance is rising at an extraordinary rate. Meanwhile, many food banks are simultaneously facing shortages of both donated food & volunteer staff.
This weekend we’re Sharing the Bounty in an effort to help replenish the food pantry at Immaculate Conception Church in Ransomville!
Last year our local Caregiver’s Ministry provided 8 families with holiday meals, and this year they will be providing meals for at least 15 families.
Tasting fees collected November 13-16, 2020 will be donated towards the purchase of canned goods, turkeys, hams, and stuffing, The Caregiver’s Ministry needs to reach their Holiday goals. Further, we are accepting the donations of canned goods towards restocking their pantry, and rewarding contributors with $1 off a wine bottle purchase.
