This weekend, travel among 14 participating wineries on the Niagara Wine Trail to collect clues & solve the murder mystery during the most popular weekend of the year: HALLO-WINE!
Presale tickets are STILL AVAILABLE ONLINE, or you can buy them at the door of the starting winery of your choice! $30 advance (or $35 at the door) includes 3 tastes of wine at each participating winery, a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery, and information to solve the crime. Tickets are valid for all THREE DAYS of the event!
To accommodate the number of people we will see through our tasting room doors this special weekend, you will notice some slight changes to our tasting policies:
In addition to our tasting room, we will have an outdoor bar, pouring an identical tasting list to the list inside. Before visiting either of the bars guests will have to stop at our “ticket booth” to check in, buy event tickets at the door, or purchase individual tastings if they are not participating in the event.
You may find that some wineries will only be pouring selections from a special bar menu during this busy weekend. Here at Long Cliff, we will be pouring our ENTIRE wine list… ALMOST. We are now down to LESS THAN TEN cases of our 2010 Rieslings (both dry and semi-sweet) and our new Niagara Gold! To prevent pouring out of these wines, we will have them available for purchase but not for tasting 10/18-10/20 only! We will still have ten other wines for tasting which includes our 2011 Rieslings, Niagara Green, Pinot Magic and Blauer Himmel.
Additionally, all guests participating in the event are asked to use the glass from their starting winery for their entire trip on the wine trail. If you forget your glass, or are just stopping in for a regular tasting, we will be serving from plastic cups.
Don’t worry- the tasting glasses with our logo will be back behind the bar after Sunday!
We’re offering you TWO CHANCES TO SAVE on wine purchases! When you buy 3 or more bottles this weekend you will earn 15% off your total purchase! THEN, in NOVEMBER, if you bring back your Hallowine ticket you can receive another 5% off any purchases!
ON SATURDAY, 10/19, Pizza Amore food truck will be on site serving up some of their amazing wood fire pizza!! Order your personal pizza as soon as you arrive, and it will be ready for pickup by the time you finish your tasting! (Perfect for eating on the go during the ride to your next stop on the trail!
