Long Cliff is NOW HIRING staff for our tasting room for the summer season, as well as offsite events!
We are looking for motivated, out-going and passionate individuals who like to:
-talk with and meet new people
-share interests and recommendations about our local tourism industry or hometown sports teams
-love to taste wine & compare wines side-by-side
…but we are NOT hiring wine TASTERS.
Position is part-time but availability Tuesday from 12pm-6pm, Saturdays from 10am-6pm and Sundays from 12pm-6pm is a MUST. Also must be available on holidays & throughout all summer and fall months.

July 16, 17, 18 & 30, 31 from 10a-6p
August 5, 12 & 13 from 10a-9p
Duties:
-Provide a friendly atmosphere and outstanding customer service to all visitors.
-Assist in maintaining the cleanliness & appearance of the tasting room including: bleaching the bar, breaking down cardboard, mopping floors, garbage removal, etc., in addition to cleaning restrooms
-Ability to operate computer equipment and software necessary for retail operations
-Ability to carry 30+ pounds required to stock inventory (wine and gift items).
-Assist customers with purchases and carry/transport to their vehicles.
-Participate in scheduled staff meetings & training sessions.
-Provide general knowledge of the Niagara Wine Trail area.
-Assist with wine tastings and educating customers on general wine knowledge and provide background of Long Cliff Winery
-Assist with tours and hosting wine tastings for large groups.
-Assist with labeling of new wine stock
-Assist with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
-Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must be able to work weekends and holidays
-Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs frequently & able to stand, walk, bend for extended periods of time
-Positive attitude, *good conversational skills* and must enjoy working with public
-Experience with wine desirable**, but willingness to learn about wine is essential!
