With Autumn upon us (Pinot Noir Grapes are being harvested today!) we’re now at the beginning of our busiest time of year, and we have LOTS of exciting events going on in the tasting room the next few months! Pull out your day planners, you’re going to want to mark down these dates!
Monday, September 16th: Back to School Bash! Did you save your child’s school supply list? We’re offering FREE WINE TASTING when you bring it into the winery! But WAIT, it just got better! 9/16 you will ALSO be able to get free tasting at Black Willow Winery, Midnight Run Wine Cellars, The Winery at Marjim Manor, and Spring Lake Winery! That’s a FULL day of free tasting! Drop the kids off at school and stop out to see us! But Remember: the School Supply list is the Golden Ticket!
Thursday, September 19th: Danielle will be at the Annual Winds, Waves and Wines Event at the Niagara Falls Conference Center to benefit the first Aquarium of Niagara. Some of New York’s and Ontario’s finest wineries provide you with tastings from their cellars. Along with your sampling of wines, enjoy a bountiful buffet of elegant hors d’oeuvres, exotic desserts and gourmet coffees – TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE! Call the Aquarium at (716) 285-3575 to get yours!
September 20-22nd: Harvest Festival on the Niagara Wine Trail… Celebrate the season with wine and food pairing and autumn activities! Tickets are valid for all three days of the event and include a tasting of 3 wines and sample of harvest-themed cuisine at each participating winery, and a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery. Thursday, September 26th: Ashley will be pouring at the 2nd Annual Serving Up Success event sponsored by Independent Health at UB’s Center for the Arts! Proceeds benefit “Soccer for Success,” the Independent Health Foundation’s free after-school program that provides children in at-risk communities the opportunity to develop their soccer skills and learn about healthy eating habits, while also benefiting from the support and positive influence of staff members! Tickets are still available and are only $35 per person or $60 per couple.
Tuesday, October 1st: 6pm Book Club Meeting at LCW! We’re talking about “Blackberry Wine” by Joanne Harris! Book Club Meetings are free to all- please pick up a copy of this book and join us for an evening of sharing your thoughts and drinking great wine! **Guests are encouraged to bring a bottle of their favorite FRUIT Wine for a special tasting this evening!
October 5th and 6th: TALK ABOUT BUSY WEEKENDS! Ashley will be pouring at Sanborn Days at the Farm Museum on 2660 Saunders Settlement Rd. from 10a-5p both days, while Danielle is offering free tastings at Niagara’s Apple Fest!
